A leading company is seeking SDE2 engineers to support legacy migration projects in a fully remote role. The position requires collaboration with scrum teams and expertise in Java and Python, among other technologies. Candidates should be adaptable and ready to work on complex distributed systems.
Over the past 12 months, TEKsystems Global Services has supported the Selection Catalogue ecosystem at our client as a managed services partner with practice support. Our three existing scrum teams have aligned with our client's core technical teams to support the legacy migration of services to a new platform, including the deprecation of technologies like Perl and rewriting services in newer technologies. Following a successful initial engagement, we now require two additional engineers to join our three scrum teams to support the next phase of our extension. Starting in March, our teams will work on three new legacy migration projects, continuing the core technical stack from last year, with additional needs for Python and other technical skills.
This is a fully remote role. The work environment is dynamic, with team rotations to address skill requirements and ensure adaptability. The project involves collaboration with existing scrum teams and utilizes a core technical stack, including Java, Python, Spring, SQL, and AWS.
