Job summary

CBSbutler are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a remote development team working on a Home Office project. You will design, develop and enhance secure, scalable Java applications and services using Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices.

You will work across Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices, contributing to the full development lifecycle from design and development through to testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Framework.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Solid SQL/database knowledge and experience with Git, Maven or Gradle.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Java Developer

Rate: £525 per day inside ir35

Location: Remote

Contract: 6 months rolling

We're looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a remote development team working on a Home Office project, building and enhancing secure, scalable Java applications and services.

You'll work across Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices, contributing to the full development lifecycle from design and development through to testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation.

Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot is essential, alongside solid SQL/database knowledge and experience working with Git, Maven or Gradle. Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD would be highly advantageous.
