Job summary

Denizns Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Java Developer with active SC clearance to design, build and maintain RESTful and SOAP microservices using Spring Boot in an Agile environment.

You will join a dynamic team to develop scalable Java applications, work across functional groups, and ensure code quality with SOLID principles, TDD/BDD tests, and automation in a contract, hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance is essential.
• 3+ years' experience as a Java Developer (Java 8+) building microservices.
• Strong Spring Boot, REST API design and SOAP/WSDL/XML experience.
• TDD and BDD experience using JUnit and Cucumber.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD and SonarQube.
• Maven or Gradle, and Git.
• MySQL/PostgreSQL, plus MongoDB or another document database.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy RESTful and SOAP microservices using Spring Boot.
• Work with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and deliver features.
• Write clean, well-documented code following SOLID principles.
• Carry out unit and integration testing and build automated test suites.

Our client is looking for an experienced Java Developer with active SC clearance. You'll join their team to design, build and maintain RESTful and SOAP microservices using Spring Boot in an Agile environment.

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications that adhere to industry best practives and standards. The candidate preferably should have SC/DV clearance or must be eligible and willing to go through SC/DV clearance.
