Java Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and operate cloud-native microservices deployed on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
• Implement and maintain automated test suites and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high code quality and rapid, reliable releases.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, drive root-cause analysis, and improve system performance and resilience.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience building production backend systems in Java.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Spring Boot and modern microservice patterns.
• Proven experience deploying services to AWS, GCP, or Azure using containers.
• Solid track record with CI/CD, automated testing, and code review discipline.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Python backend development.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm) and observability stacks.
