Job summary

Bally’s Intralot is seeking a skilled Java API Developer for the Matchday Sports API team. You will build online sportsbook APIs that handle thousands of requests per second, using AWS, Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, GraphQL and Kafka.

You’ll work in an agile environment, applying TDD, pairing and continuous delivery to deliver robust, customer-focused solutions and collaborate with the UI, Platform and Data teams as well as third-party data providers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java, SpringBoot and API design required.
• Experience with agile methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with TDD, pairing, automation and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop product features and capabilities for online sportsbook APIs.
• Use TDD and pair programming to produce high quality code.
• Design and develop customer-focused solutions.
• Collaborate with UI, Platform and Data teams and external providers.
• Deliver changes to production reliably and communicate progress.
