Job summary

Vix Technology in Manchester is looking for two Software Engineers to join the Pulse team and help build and evolve modern, scalable technology used within our solutions.

You’ll work across the technology stack with Angular, TypeScript and Java, developing web applications and RESTful APIs in an AWS cloud environment, while contributing to automated tests and CI/CD pipelines to improve quality and delivery speed.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript and Java, including developing and maintaining web applications.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and architectures using recognised industry best practices.
• Experience creating automated tests and test harnesses, with a strong focus on software quality.
• Practical experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines and automated build and testing processes.
• A good understanding of GitHub and source-control best practices, alongside strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain web applications and APIs across the full stack.
• Build RESTful architectures and scalable services in an AWS cloud environment.
• Create automated tests and test harnesses to improve product quality and reduce issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated build and testing processes.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to deliver robust, maintainable software.
