Japanese Publishing & Media Company

Title: Japanese Speaking Merchandising Sales Coordinator

Salary: over 30K Depending on experience

Location: West London

Responsibilities
  • Operate online and offline sales channels for selling Japanese consumer goods in the UK.
  • Coordination and communication with retail partners and wholesalers.
  • Import-related tasks from Japan (documentation, logistics coordination).
  • Inventory management (inventory monitoring, inventory assistance, demand forecasting support).
  • Product master data development and maintenance (SKU registration, price and inventory data updates, product information consistency check).
  • Product data updates for e-commerce sites and stores, promotional materials creation.
  • Marketing and promotional support using social media, events, and partnerships.
Qualifications
  • Product management and sales experience in retail and wholesale.
  • Experience using product master and inventory management systems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Fluent Japanese - Business level English (TOEIC) A score of 750 or above is preferred. (Business negotiations with UK companies and stakeholders, writing proposals in English, etc.).
  • 3+ years of work experience at a Japanese company.
  • Passion for Japanese culture and products; ability to commute to the West London office or the city (preferably living in the London area).
  • Interested in "Japanese Festival Events" activities.
