Job summary

MNI is hiring a Japanese-speaking Business Development Representative in London. You will drive prospecting activities across the APAC market, engage with C-suite clients, and collaborate with Account Executives to expand relationships. The role offers a strong onboarding program and clear progression into senior sales positions.

You will join a high-growth team with uncapped commission and a realistic £38k–£46k OTE in Year 1, based on performance, with a base around £34k.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Japanese (business-level or native) is required.
• Highly motivated with a results-driven, competitive mindset.
• Genuine curiosity for financial markets, economic news and current affairs.
• Receptive to feedback and committed to growth.
• Previous sales or client-facing experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new business opportunities across the APAC market.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to expand relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct initial outreach to potential clients via phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Meet and exceed monthly KPIs for outreach activity and meetings booked.
