Permanent, Full Time – 37 hours per week, Whole Year

Salary: Grade 3 - £24,404 per annum

John Taylor MAT is looking for a proactive and committed individual to join its newest, and only ‘all-through’ school in our Trust family. Built from the ground up, Rugeley John Taylor will serve local communities, offering a ‘gold standard’ learning experience to the youngest learners all the way through to sixth formers.

Built from the ground up, Rugeley John Taylor will serve local communities, offering a ‘gold standard’ learning experience to the youngest learners all the way through to sixth formers.

Joining this brand-new school, opening initially with Year 7 in the secondary phase in September 2025, you will work closely the Site & Building Supervisor to form an efficient and motivated team keeping the school building and site in excellent condition, and ensuring students and staff have a safe, warm and clean working environment. You’ll be working with the technology that operates our Building Management System, as well as taking responsibility for security of the site, ensuring consumables are available and attending to any cleaning matters during the day.

You could be ideal for this role if you have:

• Demonstrable experience of working within a similar role
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivation and a proactive approach using initiative
• Flexibility and adaptability with a willingness to go the extra mile as the school and staff team evolves
