Job Description: Benefits Assessment Officer, Harrow

Are you a Benefits Assessment Officer looking for work in London? Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in London is seeking to recruit a Benefits Assessment Officer to support during a busy period. This assignment is inside IR35 and offers full-time home working.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

1. Proficiently use the IWorld/Northgate (NEC) Revenues and Benefits processing system
2. Assess all types of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support/Reduction claims for all tenure types
3. Process new claims and changes in circumstances
4. Assess student claims, persons from abroad, and self-employed claims
5. Handle Universal Credit cases
6. Assist with backlog clearance
7. Manage ATLAS
8. Liaise with external organizations including Landlords, Employers, and the Department for Work and Pensions
9. Advise claimants on benefit entitlements and legislative changes
10. Handle inbound customer queries
