Exciting Opportunity in a Specialist Infusion Unit!

Are you a dedicated nurse looking for a full-time role in a dynamic and supportive specialist environment? Join our team at the IVAS (Intravenous Assessment and Support) Unit at Frimley Park Hospital as a Band 5 Staff Nurse.

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate nurses to deliver high-quality care within our outpatient infusion service.

This is a full-time position working four days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Main duties of the job

The IVAS infusion unit is a new concept in integrated Intravenous and vascular access services care for day case patients who can have infusion therapy to avoid admission or facilitate early discharge.

The IVAS unit also includes the vascular access service and the HIMS service, and as such, all team members will become competent in ultrasound-guided cannulation and midline insertion, competency in using all types of vascular access devices, and working with HIMS patients.

You will support and work in conjunction with the IVAS team in the delivery of outpatient and ambulatory care IV services.
