The Role

Workplace: White City, London

Team

Global Partnerships is the commercial arm of ITV Studios, responsible for investing in and selling the very best dramas, comedies, factual, entertainment shows and formats around the world. We work closely with our internal ITV Studios producers (over 60 globally), in addition to partnering with top class producing talent from the third party market, to add exciting, new and premium series to our slate. Our shows cover a range of genres and include productions from the UK, US, Australia, Canada and across Europe. Examples of shows we have partnered on and represent are BBC hits Line of Duty and Vigil, familiar favourites Vera and McDonald Dodds, international sensations Schitt's Creek and A Year On Planet Earth, as well as the world's biggest entertainment brands and formats such as Love Island, The Voice, Come Dine With Me and The Chase. As a member of the Global Content Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the acquisition process of this content, and work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Legal and Operations teams to take it out to the international market.

Role

  • Attending team meetings and aiding in the overall efficiency of the Global Content Team (diary management, logging submissions for new shows and keeping trackers up to date)
  • Engage in creative discussion around the evaluation of new scripted and non-scripted shows submitted to us for potential investment
  • Collaborating with other teams such as Sales, Marketing and Research in preparing sales updates and planning ahead of industry events (such as London Screenings and MIPCOM).
  • Research on rights internal management system (called PARIS)
  • Preparing presentations with guidance from a team member. These could include pitch documents, specific pieces of industry research, and reports providing producers feedback on the performance of their shows in the international market.

Entry Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or equivalent qualifications plus two other subjects
  • An interest in sales, development and demonstrated passion for working in the TV industry
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and technical information.
  • Proactive learner with a collaborative mindset.
