Health Visitor Role

As a Health Visitor, you’ll specialise in promoting the health and well-being of individuals and families, particularly during the early stages of life. Your duties will include:

1. Conducting home visits to assess and support the physical, emotional, and social needs of families with young children.
2. Providing guidance on child development, nutrition, and parenting skills.
3. Assessing and addressing potential health and safety concerns within the home environment.
4. Offering advice on contraception, sexual health, and family planning.

Candidate Requirements

To be suitable for this role, you should:

1. Be a passionate professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider healthcare team.
2. Show empathy and patience, and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
3. Have strong attention to detail and recognize when additional support may be needed.

Nursing Requirements

• NMC registration
• 6 months’ experience within a UK healthcare setting
• Right to work in the UK
• UK references
