A leading healthcare provider in Ashford is seeking a committed Band 6 Dietitian to join their team. This role involves providing specialist dietetic support to patients in surgery and intensive care, ensuring optimal nutritional care as part of a multidisciplinary team. Qualified candidates should have a relevant degree and HCPC registration, with experience in general dietetics. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in patient assessments and be proactive in their approach.

We have an opportunity to join our Team as a Band 6 Dietitian, and provide a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics service in surgery and intensive care. This position is part of an expanding team with the opportunity to help shape the future of the service.

To provide specialist dietetic support to patients within the acute setting, working closely with the MDT providing specialist advice.
To make assessments using a variety of sources of information and to provide results of assessment in verbal and written formats.
To maintain a holistic approach to patient care and involving relatives, carers and appropriate care agencies whenever possible in the treatment plans and programmes
To be an integral member of the dietetic team working to ensure optimal nutritional care for patients as a key determinant of recovery and outcome.
Participation in training and education, including supporting students and Dietetic Assistant Practitioners.
