We're recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised video games and entertainment company behind some of the world's biggest gaming franchises, mobile apps and entertainment brands. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international localisation team responsible for creating engaging content for millions of players worldwide.

The Job

As an Italian speaking Translation & Editing Specialist, you will creatively adapt gaming and marketing content for Italian speaking audiences. Rather than producing literal translations, you'll ensure every piece of content resonates culturally while maintaining the original tone, humour, emotion and brand identity. You'll work closely with localisation managers, editors, marketing teams and game developers on a wide range of exciting global projects.

This position offers the flexibility of fully remote working or a hybrid role in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate and transcreate video game content, marketing campaigns and promotional materials from Italian into English
• Adapt copy for cultural relevance while maintaining the original creative intent
• Work on trailers, websites, social media, in-game events, store pages, advertising campaigns and player communications
• Ensure consistency of tone of voice across all platforms
• Collaborate with localisation teams, copywriters and project managers
• Review and edit content to ensure linguistic quality and brand consistency
• Maintain terminology databases, style guides and glossaries
• Work with CAT tools and localisation platforms where required
• Deliver high-quality work within project deadlines

Salary, working hours, benefits

• Salary of £39,000 – £59,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:30pm
