Location: London, UK or Milan, Italy. The candidate has the flexibility to work via the Milan office or for ambitious candidates the company will bear full relocation expenses to bring you to the London office.

Who can apply: ideal for Italian-qualified professionals (Avvocato or Dottore Commercialista) with at least 4+ years of practical experience in Italian tax law. You should bring strong technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and fluency in English, with a passion for advising HNWIs on complex cross-border tax and succession planning matters.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide practical, commercial advice to international clients on Italian tax structuring and cross-border planning

  • Apply deep knowledge of Italian tax law to high-value, complex matters

  • Manage a substantial and varied caseload efficiently and cost-effectively with appropriate supervision

  • Build strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and intermediaries

  • Draft and review complex legal documents with minimal supervision

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide accurate, actionable recommendations

  • Mentor and supervise junior team members where appropriate

  • Actively participate in marketing initiatives, client presentations, and seminars

  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and best practice development

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations (including SRA Standards and Principles)

Qualifications
  • Italian qualified (Avvocato or Dottore Commercialista) with a minimum of 4+ years experience in Italian tax law

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Experience in Italian private client tax matters is highly advantageous

  • STEP qualification preferred but not essential

  • Strong problem-solving ability with commercial awareness

  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional drafting and analytical skills

  • A proactive, self-motivated team player able to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong client relationship and communication skills

  • Willingness to go the extra mile in delivering service excellence

  • Strong IT literacy, including MS Office (Excel and Word)
