Job summary

The Ned in London is seeking an entry-level Commis Chef for Italian cuisine to support a busy kitchen team. You will prep ingredients and assist in service, while maintaining a clean, safe environment and a smooth flow from breakfast through dinner.

We offer training to develop your skills, meals in a team restaurant, and opportunities to progress within the kitchen. Flexibility with shifts is encouraged in this dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with training provided.
• High standards in hospitality and guest service.
• Ability to stay calm in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and progress into Chef De Partie.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients for service.
• Occasionally work with other chefs on sections and prep for service.
• Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.
• Keep the kitchen tidy, presentable and ready to hand over to the next team.
• Support the next team by helping with prep for the next service.
• Be flexible with shift patterns in hospitality.
