Job description

Our client, a highly respected professional services firm based in the heart of Belfast, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced IT Training & Systems Enablement Specialist to join their technology and support operations. This permanent part-time position is ideal for a training professional who excels at empowering staff with the knowledge and tools they need to work efficiently in a modern, technology-led environment.

This individual will lead the charge in developing and delivering a programme of engaging IT learning experiences for colleagues across multiple teams - from day-one onboarding to continued upskilling. You'll be the go-to person for coaching users on both core business applications and new digital initiatives, ensuring confidence and compliance across the firm's IT platforms.

What You'll Do:
  • Analyse learning requirements across departments, identifying key gaps in digital confidence and proposing targeted training strategies to address them.

  • Design and deliver engaging training content across a range of systems and software, including Microsoft 365, document automation tools, secure communication platforms, and case management systems.

  • Act as the key contact for IT learning escalations, helping employees troubleshoot knowledge-based issues and adopt new tools confidently.

  • Deliver a blended learning experience using in-person workshops, virtual sessions, quick reference guides, videos, and one-on-one coaching.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR and the Technology team, to ensure training aligns with user needs and business goals.

  • Champion the adoption of new technologies, assisting with change initiatives and supporting the rollout of new systems and digital processes.

  • Monitor the impact of learning interventions, collecting feedback, tracking engagement, and recommending enhancements.

  • Contribute to testing and documentation for new tools, providing end-user insight and usability guidance.

  • Provide regular reporting to management on training outcomes, feedback themes, and platform adoption trends.

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience delivering IT or digital systems training in a professional services, legal, or regulated business environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.

  • Comfortable with learning management systems, virtual meeting tools, and designing both live and self-paced learning resources.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical language into clear, engaging guidance for non-technical users.

  • Highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple requests and learner groups simultaneously.

  • A genuine passion for helping people learn and an ability to tailor your approach to a range of learning styles and digital literacy levels.

  • A confident facilitator who can foster collaboration, feedback, and engagement in both small and large group settings.

Preferred (But Not Essential):
  • Previous experience working with document management or legal case management systems.

  • Exposure to digital change or technology adoption programmes.

  • Basic knowledge of data protection and information security best practices in an office environment.

Role Details:
  • Location: Belfast city centre (primary base)

  • Hours: 21 hours per week (flexible working considered across 3 days)

  • Travel: Occasional travel to the Dublin office required

This role offers the opportunity to join a modern, people-focused firm that values innovation, collaboration, and continual development. The successful candidate will play a key part in enabling operational excellence through digital empowerment.
