A Local Authority in Lewisham is seeking an IT Training Officer for a 3-month contract, focusing on developing training programs for Adult Social Care staff. The ideal candidate should have experience in IT training and a solid understanding of Adult Social Care systems, specifically LAS and ContrOcc. This role offers a pay rate of £22.78-£29.15 per hour and may lead to extensions based on client needs.

Summary:
The IT Training Officer will play a crucial role in leading and developing IT training guidance for end-users within the Adult Social Care & Health Directorate at Lewisham Council. This position requires a strong understanding of Adult Social Care systems, particularly LAS (Liquidlogic Adults' Social Care System) and ContrOcc, and a confident understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application in social care settings. The role involves developing training programs, managing training data, and contributing to system improvements to enhance service outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop training guidance for end-users through one-to-one sessions and classroom coaching.
Deliver induction training on all Adult Social Care (ASC) and Corporate IT systems to new starters
Lead in the setup of training data and user accounts with appropriate configuration for trainees, including liaison with server engineers to maintain this data.
Develop processes in line with IT technology to deliver Adult Social Care outcomes.
Prepare and update Aide Memoirs in line with Social Care business processes within the Adult Social Care IT System.
Assist in carrying out the Council's environmental policy.
Qualifications:
Qualifications in IT training, adult education, or a related field would be beneficial.
Essentials:
Experience designing and developing IT training systems.
A good understanding of Adult Social Care Systems, and in particular LAS (Liquidlogic Adults' Social Care System) and ContrOcc.
An in-depth understanding of the IT needs of client professionals working in the social services environment.
