The work you'll be doing

Enhancing digital confidence with engaging IT training initiatives, designing and delivering effective sessions for our employees will be a key part of your role as an IT Trainer at Wilsons Solicitors LLP.

Our head office is based in Salisbury, and it would be ideal if you are within commuting distance. However, this can be a semi-based remote role, where you come into the office when required, such as for new joiner inductions.

Our core hours are 35 per week, with flexibility on days and hours worked.

Responsibilities include:

1. Design and deliver IT training to all partners and staff on a wide range of packages, ensuring training is tailored based on training needs analysis outputs.
2. Undertake training needs analysis through information gathered from IT, HR, Risk & Compliance, Marketing, and legal teams to design and develop training solutions.
3. Provide training as part of the firm's onboarding induction program to ensure new joiners are equipped with the required IT knowledge.
4. Design and develop user guides (written and video) using simple language.
5. Conduct role-specific training on tools and programs used daily by each team.
6. Apply educational methods to engage with individuals during one-to-one sessions.
7. Evaluate the effectiveness of each educational session, ensuring training is measured against agreed outcomes.

The team you'll be joining

You will report directly to our Director of IT and Workplace Services and collaborate with our in-house IT team, which includes an IT Manager and several IT Support members. You will work closely with IT first-line support to understand training themes arising from logged issues.
