Who you work with

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you assist in the provision of an efficient and professional IT service to the wider company.

What you do

As a key member of the IT team, you are the first point of contact for all user enquiries. You will be involved in all aspects of desktop support on a day-to-day basis. Your main responsibilities include:

Experience and Knowledge

This role would be ideal for someone working in a service desk environment who wants a more hands-on role. The client has many different departments, and each has its own needs. You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Office 2016/365, MACOS, and desktop hardware. This is a mixed Mac and PC environment, so knowledge of both operating systems is essential. Experience using call logging information systems is also desirable.

Skills

You understand the importance of customer service in your role and are able to build strong and lasting relationships using your excellent interpersonal skills. You are proactive, supremely organised, and remain calm under pressure, which enables you to effectively manage a range of different tasks at once. You must always be willing to learn and embrace new technologies and ideas whilst also understanding the importance of data security. Key skills required include Active Directory, Office 365, TCP/IP, MACOS, and Windows 10. Other preferred skills include WDS, WSUS, and MACOS/iOS management server.
