IT Technician (3-Month Contract - Temp to Perm)
Location: Worcester
Pay Rate: £12.80 - £13.30 per hour

Contract: 3-month initial contract with the potential to go permanent

Role Overview:
We're seeking a proactive IT Technician for a 3-month contract to support and maintain internal systems within a growing and dynamic business. As the first point of contact for IT queries, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while also contributing to infrastructure improvements. This position offers valuable hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support to internal users across various business systems

  • Manage tickets via Jira, ensuring timely and effective resolution

  • Build and configure devices (laptops/desktops/tablets) for new and existing users

  • Maintain and upgrade operating systems, software, and hardware

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and internal infrastructure

  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers

  • Liaise with external vendors for equipment repair and software support

  • Occasionally travel to other UK office locations if required

What We're Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows, and MacOS

  • Confident building and maintaining IT hardware

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly

  • Well-organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks independently

  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with SQL and database support
