Coleshill Heath School is a large primary school in the North of Solihull and is part of the Collaborative Education Trust which is a multi-academy trust that has recently formed on 1st April 2025 supporting four schools in Solihull. The vision of The Trust is to create a family of schools who are connected by a shared belief in working in a diverse and inclusive system, with a shared desire to work in partnership in the best interests of all of our learners.
Over the last twelve months the schools have been working together collaboratively where opportunities have arisen and all schools are looking forward to the exciting pathway that lies ahead.The Governing Body are looking to appoint an effective and efficient suitably qualified IT Technician, who will be able to make a positive contribution to our continuing development. You will work to ensure the smooth running of the school’s ICT network infrastructure [part of the Collaborative Education Trust (CET), liaising with the Trust IT Team], managing all aspects of ICT technical support, maintenance and system security for the school.
We are looking for an individual who not only has the knowledge and skills to undertake this role but someone who will embrace the school’s vision and core values and strive to make continual improvements to our ICT offering for all. This post will suit a person with a sound background in ICT, who knows the importance of maintaining and developing a robust and reliable ICT provision to the school. It reflects our commitment to provide an innovative IT structure which delivers new technologies and systems for our pupils and staff. Therefore, along with dedication and determination, there will need to be a level of flexibility and organisation to ensure effective use of time to meet expectations.
