A local government council in Scotland is seeking an IT Technician to provide first/second line technical support and assist in IT projects. Candidates should possess a HNC in a relevant field or equivalent experience, alongside strong communication and teamwork abilities. We are recruiting an IT Technician within the Technical Support on a fixed term basis until 31/03/2027.
To provide first / second line technical support across Perth & Kinross Council and assist with IT project work in any IT area as required. To deliver effective ICT support through the provision of high-quality IT Helpdesk services and on-site support across all PKC sites, during school / business hours, and early mornings / evenings / weekends where required. To provide support and guidance to IT Students / other IT staff in their day-to-day tasks. The role encompasses a range of duties, including:
Candidates must be educated to HNC level in an appropriate discipline or have experience in a relevant professional ICT environment.

Experience of working within a Council/School environment would also be an advantage.
You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
