Job description

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality technical support and advice to the school.
  • Prepare devices for use, including desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, and iPads.
  • Help maintain and support the IT hardware estate, including educational technology (classroom desktops, laptops, AV) and non-educational technology (CCTV, VOIP phones, access control).
  • Document fixes and workarounds to common problems for sharing across the wider IT support network.
  • Participate in incident investigation, including retrieving and securely sharing CCTV footage.
  • Assist in testing and installing new software under the guidance of the Senior IT Technician.
  • Ensure new starters receive proximity ID Badges, are enrolled on access control systems, and receive IT induction covering acceptable usage policy, mandatory training, and basic equipment use.
