Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term for the duration of the apprenticeship

About The Role

• This is a fixed-term apprenticeship, typically lasting 18-24 months, but it may be shorter or longer depending on your skills and experience and the pace you complete the programme.
• Travel: Occasional travel to other schools in the region when needed – Barton Hill Academy, Hazelwood Academy, Offas Mead Academy, The Ridge Academy, Brockworth Primary Academy.
• Requirements: Driver’s license and access to a car are essential.
  
  

Duties Include

• Diagnosing and resolving issues with Windows, Apple, and Chrome devices.
• Supporting AV systems, software roll-outs, and asset management.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Working alongside third-party partners and your team, you’ll learn how to solve problems and deliver IT support that makes a difference to the people who rely on it.

• This is a growing region, with scope to develop in project management and opportunities to work with other departments and collaborations as the region expands.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• GCSE Maths and English (A–C or 9–4) or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards Functional Skills.
• Enthusiasm for IT and a willingness to learn and grow.
• Experience working as part of a team (e.g., in a sporting, educational, work, or social setting).
  
  

Eligibility Criteria

• You must have resided in the UK or EEA for at least 3 years prior to the start of the apprenticeship.
• Applicants must not have already completed a Level 3 IT Solutions Technician apprenticeship.
