ICT Technician – Secondary School

We’re supporting a secondary school looking for a reliable, solution-focused ICT Technician to join their team. You’ll play a key role in keeping systems running, solving day-to-day issues, and supporting staff and students with all things tech.

About the Role

As an ICT Technician, your day will involve:

  • Providing first-line IT support to staff and pupils
  • Maintaining school hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, interactive boards, etc.)
  • Troubleshooting network, WiFi, and software issues
  • Setting up and maintaining classroom devices and AV equipment
  • Assisting with user access, accounts, and safeguarding filters
  • Supporting the wider IT team in managing the school’s digital infrastructure

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in an IT support or technician role
  • Is confident troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Can communicate clearly with both tech-savvy staff and complete beginners
  • Works well under pressure and is happy to move between classrooms as needed
  • Holds a current DBS on the Update Service or is happy to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
