Senior IT Technician

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior IT Technician to join our IT team. This is a key role in supporting, maintaining, and developing our IT infrastructure while ensuring outstanding service delivery across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver 2nd and 3rd line support across a multi-site organisation


  • Maintain and troubleshoot networks, servers, hardware, and software systems


  • Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS)


  • Lead IT projects including upgrades, migrations, and system rollouts


  • Ensure cybersecurity best practices and data protection compliance


  • Monitor system performance and maintain documentation


  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior technicians


    Person Specification

    • Extensive experience in a senior IT support role


    • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems


    • Proficient in networking, firewalls, virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud services


    • Industry certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are desirable


    • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skills
