Job description

Are you an experienced IT Technician? Is it time for a new and exciting challenge? If so, we have the role for you!

Here at GXO, we have a new opportunity available for an IT Technician to join our team, working at one of our busy shared user sites in Northampton. You'll ensure that the systems (hardware & software) are running smoothly and resolve any issues promptly.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 4 on 4 off, covering 8am-8pm.

We're offering a salary of up to £27,209 per annum, with 23 days of annual leave (including bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Ensure the physical appearance and safety of the working environment
  • Maintain SOPs for all activities and pursue waste elimination through continuous improvement tools
  • Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to monitor and improve performance
  • Review and update processes related to IT tasks, ensuring proper documentation
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • IT systems experience, ideally within a logistics or warehouse environment
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Ownership of processes and responsibility for workload
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
