Pay rate up to £14/h DOE

I am representing a global well-established IT company who is looking for experienced calibration technicians. This will involve calibration, validation, and repair of electrical/electronic test instruments and mechanical torque tools to maintain functionality and accuracy.

Job Description

Tests, calibrates/validates, and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical/dimensional, or analytical test instruments, products, and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on products manufactured by another company. Work occasionally is performed at a customer location. Performs routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require the use of judgment. Solves a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity, including test and calibration problems which require deep technical knowledge.

Main responsibilities include:

2. Solving a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
3. Understanding customers' requirements through face-to-face and written communication.

Requirements:

1. Education and technical knowledge within the sector and role.
2. IT knowledge (Windows, Office).
3. Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
4. Confident at answering customer questions.
5. Ability to recognize and anticipate problems and search proactively for solutions.
6. Ability to work independently and a proactive attitude.
