Job Overview

  • We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support and expertise to the sales team and customers, understanding customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • This position offers an opportunity to work with top-tier brands and industry-leading partners in the UK IT sector, providing a platform to elevate your professional experience.
  • This role combines Sales Technical Engineer and Sales Manager responsibilities, providing technical support to clients while achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Present and demonstrate product technical features to potential clients, persuading them to place orders while meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets.
  • Meet or exceed assigned quarterly sales targets as a Sales Manager.
  • Partner with clients' IT managers to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and service, ensuring prompt and professional responses to enquiries.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions into customer environments.

Technical Skills Requirement

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a network consultancy or IT services environment, with expertise in implementation and support services.
  • LAN and WAN configuration and diagnostics, including network services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and Wi-Fi configuration.
  • Virtual server architecture, ideally with VMware and virtual desktop architecture, ideally with Citrix XenDesktop.
  • Security experience with MDM, MFA, Email Filtering, Next Generation firewalls, and antivirus solutions.
  • Windows Server installation and configuration.
  • Storage management, including SAN devices, iSCSI connectivity, and cluster troubleshooting.
  • Remote Desktop Services support and troubleshooting for RDS, RemoteApp, and Citrix environments (on-prem and cloud).
  • Endpoint support for Windows desktops, applications, tablets, and mobile devices.

Ideal Certifications:

  • Citrix Certified Professional (CCP)
  • Relevant networking, infrastructure, and Microsoft qualifications (CCNA, JNCP, MCSA, VCP)
