Service Express is looking for a talented professional who wants the opportunity to serve as anIT Technical Project Managerin our organisation.

The IT Project Manager would be responsible for overseeing and managing various IT projects from initiation to completion. With strong technical expertise this role will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. A detailed planner, organising, and coordinating all aspects of IT projects to achieve the desired outcomes and business objectives.

What you will do:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of IT projects in accordance with project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
  • Manage project documentation, including project charters, requirements documents, change requests, and status reports.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders on project progress, issues, and risks.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the project team.
  • Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify opportunities for improvement and best practices.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum experience 5+ yrs in an IT Project Management role.
  • 5 years working in a large global enterprise.
  • Project Management qualifications such as – AgilePM, Scrum, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification is desirable.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager delivering complex IT Infrastructure projects related but not limited to Network, Storage & Virtualisation.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience working with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, etc.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
