Job description

AGRILAND FS is looking for a detail-oriented and computer-savvy IT Help Desk Technician to provide on-site hardware and software support to end users throughout the Southern 1/3 of Iowa. As a member of our AGRILAND FS Team, this individual will work with all levels of our organization to set up and install first and second level hardware and software and assist the IT Team in completing company projects and initiatives.


Core responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct on-site end-user support throughout AGRILAND FS core geography (minimal overnight travel)
  2. Respond to end-user requests and inquiries in a positive and timely manner
  3. Utilize AGRILAND FS helpdesk software to document and manage user requests to ensure service metrics are met or exceeded
  4. Install and configure new user hardware and software
  5. Work with IT team to track hardware and software inventory

What we need from you:

  1. Associate's degree in information technology or information systems and/or 1-2 years of work-related experience
  2. Prefer experience installing and configuring desktop hardware and software
  3. Strong communication, planning, organization, and problem-solving skills
  4. Able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  5. Willing to work outside of normal business hours when necessary
  6. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and able to travel independently and overnight if necessary
