Role Overview - IT Systems Engineer

This position is ideal for a talented and ambitious professional. The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning complex network servers, PCs, and other systems such as CCTV and building monitoring systems that comprise our maritime surveillance solutions, along with ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues.

Responsibilities - IT Systems Engineer

• Configure and deploy networked servers, storage, network hardware, and related software supporting IT infrastructure
• Check and validate installations, and generate reports
• Troubleshoot connectivity systems and ensure optimal performance
• Monitor system performance, perform troubleshooting, apply software patches, and replace hardware as needed
• Support and train customer internal IT teams to enable operational ownership of supplied systems
• Maintain detailed documentation of system changes and updates

Requirements - IT Systems Engineer

• Essential: Minimum of 5 years of network IT system setup and management experience in commercial or industrial environments
• Essential: Deep understanding of IT networks and server configurations, especially Windows/Linux servers and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is advantageous
• Strong understanding of IT security and data protection best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic skills are beneficial but not essential
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
