Wren Kitchens Limited in Barton-upon-Humber is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our IT Systems Team. You will own complex issues, drive automation and improve reliability, security and performance across Azure, Entra ID, Intune and hybrid cloud environments.

You will lead technical projects, deliver infrastructure improvements, and maintain clear documentation while collaborating with showrooms, offices and colleagues to support fast, resilient IT services.

Qualifications

• Proven 3rd-line IT support and infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong Azure, Entra ID, Intune and hybrid cloud knowledge.
• Experience with Windows Server, virtualisation, storage, networking and IT security.
• PowerShell automation skills and knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Bicep, ARM or Terraform).
• Customer-focused problem-solving, strong communication and teamwork, with the ability to prioritise and meet SLAs.
• macOS/Apple management, Jira, Zoom and relevant Microsoft or security certifications are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Act as the senior 3rd-line escalation point, resolving complex issues and supporting 1st/2nd-line teams.
• Lead problem management, identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions.
• Manage, secure and optimise Azure, Entra ID, Intune and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain Windows Server, virtualisation, storage and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring security and resilience.
• Automate processes and deployments using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Deliver IT projects from planning to handover, meeting agreed deadlines and objectives.
• Drive service improvements, streamline processes and maintain clear technical documentation to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, customer-focused IT Systems Engineer to join our IT Systems Team. You’ll play a key role in improving the reliability, security and performance of our IT platforms, driving automation, streamlining processes and proactively resolving issues before they arise. Working collaboratively across the business, you’ll take ownership of projects of all sizes alongside day-to-day operations, helping us deliver smarter, more resilient IT services to our showrooms, offices and teams. This role is based at Barton-upon-Humber, working patterns to be agreed.
