IT Systems Developer | up to £40,000 | Hybrid, Glossop

This role is with a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Assist in setting up new user accounts and provide basic orientation to new users on computer systems and software applications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT support tools, technologies, services, and procedures within the organization’s network environment.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding system problems or service requests via phone or service tickets.

Experience:

• Experience working on legacy software.
• Experience with business reporting tools such as Crystal Reports.
• Experience with User Support is beneficial.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.

Location:

The client has offices in Rotherham and Glossop. The candidate should be able to work in one of these offices 5 days a week.
