IT Systems Administrator

Located near Twickenham, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Systems Administrator to join an established IT team. This full-time role offers the chance to work in an environment where personal and professional growth is encouraged.

Role Responsibilities:

• System Management: Oversee the integrity, security, maintenance, and availability of the school’s IT systems.
• Technical Expertise: Manage Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, VPN, and support large-scale environments.
• Project Leadership: Lead small-scale system projects and improvements, providing technical training to team members.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with vendors, management teams, and the IT Systems Manager.
• Daily Operations: Conduct daily checks, vulnerability reviews, and resolve system issues to maintain system integrity.

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years experience in similar roles, with hands-on experience in VMware, Windows Server, MacOS management using MDM, FortiGate Firewalls, Aruba Switching and Wireless, and Veeam Backup.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work independently.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and supporting systems, services, networks, and infrastructure for a large number of users.
