Job summary

Plexus is seeking an IT Support Engineer / Systems Administrator for an on-site 12-month fixed-term contract. You will manage core server infrastructure (VMware and Windows Server), oversee AD, DNS and DHCP, and handle advanced troubleshooting of network components.

The role includes documenting procedures and leading small IT projects. Candidate should have 2+ years in advanced IT roles, strong PowerShell scripting, and solid networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in advanced IT support, Systems Administration, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Deep proficiency with Windows Server operating systems (2016/2019/2022) and virtualization.
• PowerShell scripting for routine tasks and automation.
• Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs and VPNs.
• Strong diagnostic, analytical and mentoring abilities for senior interactions.

Responsibilities

• Focus on advanced problem resolution and infrastructure stability.
• Escalation point for complex hardware, software and network incidents; drive to resolution.
• Manage core server infrastructure (physical and VMware-based), including patching and monitoring.
• Oversee Active Directory, GPOs, DNS and DHCP services.
• Develop and maintain IT operational docs and disaster recovery procedures.
• Lead small to medium IT projects like upgrades, migrations or rollout of new tech.
• Support Global projects to ensure smooth transitions.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for network components (firewalls, switches, Wi‑Fi).
