YOUR TASKS

1. Schedule, configure, and monitor backup jobs: You will be responsible for planning, configuring, and monitoring backup jobs with the Commvault software. You will ensure that regular data backups are carried out for all relevant systems.
2. Developing and maintaining disaster recovery strategies: You will develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies and perform backups in accordance with security requirements and recovery objectives.
3. Quickly recover data from outages or IT disruptions: You will be responsible for the rapid recovery of data after failures or IT disruptions and coordinate emergency measures and tests.
4. Continuous monitoring of backup and restore processes: You will continuously monitor the backup and restore processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement best practices. You are always looking for ways to optimize and improve processes and procedures.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Completed training as an IT specialist, completed studies in computer science or comparable qualification
• Ideally, several years of professional experience as a Senior IT System Administrator
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions (ideally Commvault)
• In-depth knowledge of disaster recovery management
• Good knowledge of German and English
