Salary: £47,683



What you'll be doing:

  • Administering our critical, Linux-based environment that supports real-time and post-flight aircraft analysis.
  • Ensuring the availability and performance of our systems through proactive monitoring, routine maintenance, and swift resolution of issues.
  • Driving the automation of our Linux infrastructure using Ansible, crafting and maintaining robust playbooks and roles for consistent and efficient system provisioning.
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of the environment by ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Providing expert end-user support, including user account management, technical guidance, and problem-solving.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, procedures, and user guides.
  • Contributing to the design and evolution of the platform, delivering new capabilities to meet customer requirements.
  • Working with third-party suppliers to integrate and manage external technology services.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Substantial experience installing, configuring, and supporting Linux based systems
  • At least moderate experience of Infrastructure as Code and using tools such as Ansible

Desirable

  • A current Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) qualification
