Counter Terrorism Policing South East is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their ICT Team. This role involves resolving IT issues, ensuring system connectivity, and supporting technical operations. Ideal candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm, good communication skills, and logical thinking in a dynamic environment.
Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) is a collaboration of the five South East police forces and works with the UK Intelligence community to help protect the public and our national security.
To support this important work, CTPSE’s ICT Team is involved in a range of technical tasks, from everyday user support to the discovery and development of new bespoke specialist solutions for trailblazing technologies in policing.
The ICT Support Officer is responsible for resolving or coordinating timely responses to IT issues, ensuring connectivity of technical systems and services across the unit. You will also identify common trends and issues to enable investigations by engineers, act as a point of contact for some technical facilities, and support IT colleagues with day-to-day functions.
Experience within an IT setting isn’t necessary, as we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, alongside good communication skills and the ability to think logically in a fast-paced environment.
