IT Support Technician

Our client is urgently looking for an IT Support Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is happy to consider both newcomers to IT, as well as experienced candidates.

Please note, the role is on-site 5 days per week in London. Remote working will be permitted on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Ensurethatticketshaveappropriatecategoriesassigned,correctstatusisapplied,andpriorityisclear
  • Maintainanaccurateaudittrailontheticket
  • Escalateissuesthatarenotpossibletoresolveduetoknowledgeoraccessto2ndlinesupport,oriftheguidancestatesescalatetotheappropriateteamsuchasITInfrastructureorITApplications&Development,orexternalsuppliersupport
  • Preparedesksetupfornewjoiners,andclearingequipmentfromleavers
  • Assistwiththemaintenanceofinventory,includingtonerandinkforprinters
  • KeepITstockorganisedsothatthelocalteamknowitsstatus(available,pendingassignment,pendingrepair)
  • WeekendoncallcoveriscoveredonarotationalbasisbyallITSupportteammembers
