SMS Environmental Ltd is looking for a qualified
IT Support Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our office-based and remote workforces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will be able to provide quality service in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality service to colleagues by offering technical support on all aspects of their computer systems
- Provide assistance with hardware and software installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Maintain an organised and efficient work space
- Communicate with Operational departments and teams to ensure end-user satisfaction
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Complete daily task lists, documentation, and other administrative tasks as assigned by management
- Work in a safe manner at all times according to company and industry standards
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in related field OR equivalent experience
- 2 years IT Support front facing experience to a minimum of 50+ users, both desktop
- and remote
- Strong computer skills including Google G-Suite of software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Windows OS
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal) required; written and verbal communication skills required; intermediate to advanced level computer skills preferred
- End-user training an advantage
