Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team at Gallery Systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing technical support in a Microsoft environment, managing MS SQL Server and offering support for a Java web application's utilizing SOLR and Tomcat. The IT Support Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our software solutions and efficiently communicating updates and troubleshooting across multiple teams.

Qualifications

Job Description:

  • 1-2 years of experience ideally in a Help Desk setting
  • Tomcat/Apache Stack

Nice To Haves

  • AWS or MS SQL

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist restoring service and maintaining MS SQL Server running on EC2 and AWS RDS
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to SOLR and Tomcat in an AWS environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and enhance system performance.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support or appropriate teams for resolution.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation for support processes and procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and enhance technical skills.
