IT Support Technician - Redhill, Surrey

Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician to join a busy and growing team based in Redhill, Surrey. Our client is a long-established IT support company providing comprehensive IT knowledge, hands-on support, products, solutions, and high-quality service tailored to business needs.

The successful candidate will provide 1st and 2nd Line Support to a variety of clients across Surrey. You will be involved in all aspects of support and contribute to the business by delivering high levels of service to both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle client IT queries via telephone and email remotely.
2. Update clients on the progress of their queries when first-contact resolution is not possible.
3. Manage client projects such as data and email migration.
4. Resolve software issues.
5. Perform desktop and laptop fixes.
6. Troubleshoot Windows 10 & 11, Mac OS.
7. Manage Active Directory and group policies.
8. Travel to client sites when required.
9. Maintain a full UK driving license.
10. Utilize knowledge of Microsoft 365.
11. Experience with Windows Server and Windows client operating systems.
12. Experience with networks (LAN, WAN), patch management, and TCP/IP protocols.
13. Familiarity with hardware of servers, desktops, and laptops.
14. Knowledge of security systems (anti-virus, firewalls).
15. Possess 2-4 years of experience in an IT support role.
16. Provide outstanding telephone customer service.
17. Exhibit excellent communication skills and a passion for technology.
