The business support teams are pivotal in supporting our fee-earning colleagues to carry out their roles effectively and efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to undertake quality work and develop your career within a reputable legal practice. We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role, a basic understanding of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), and familiarity with Windows 10/11 and basic troubleshooting.
This is an interesting and challenging role, requiring you to act as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, or ticketing system. You will provide troubleshooting services and support, including Microsoft 365 applications, password resets, account access, hardware/software issues, equipment setup, support ticket management, user accounts/devices, and system alerts.
The Maidstone team consists of 7 colleagues with various specialisms. You will report to Ian Robertson (IT Operations Manager) and Steve Garbett (Head of Infrastructure and Information Security), working with the team at Brachers and the wider Lawfront group, as well as independently on diverse tasks.
You should have good communication and customer service skills, the ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, a willingness to learn, and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks. A year's experience in a similar role or relevant training/qualifications is preferred, along with exposure to the IT areas mentioned above.
