Job summary

A leading UK-based manufacturer is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their dynamic team in Ipswich. You will support over 250 users, resolve complex IT issues, maintain core systems, and manage escalations. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in IT support with strong knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, and networking. A UK driving license and own vehicle are required. This is a full-time, permanent position with occasional travel.

Join a dynamic IT team supporting 250+ users across the UK & Ireland. You’ll handle escalated support cases, deliver IT projects, maintain core systems, and keep our infrastructure running smoothly.

What you’ll do:

• Resolve complex IT issues & manage escalations.
• Maintain AD, Azure AD, Office 365, LAN, firewalls & servers.
• Deliver Windows updates, security patches & network upgrades.
• Support laptops/desktops setup & project rollouts.
• Work with suppliers & assist in IT planning.
• Occasional travel & out-of-hours support.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years in IT support/helpdesk roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365 & networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Backup/DR (Azure), switches/routers, Teams telephony.
• PowerShell or scripting experience.
• Security best practice know-how.
• UK driving licence & own vehicle.

Location: Ipswich + occasional travel
