Job description

Salary: £28 - £30k

£500 bonus paid after completion of a successful 6-month probation!

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

Location: Office based, Horsham, West Sussex.

What will you be doing?

As our IT Support Technician you will be providing Technical support for our internal employees as well as IT project support. We are looking for someone who is keen to join a growing business where the customer is at the centre of our focus.

Password resets

Handling 1st & 2nd line IT support queries of internal and remote staff

Assist the team with 3rd line customer support escalations

Day to day IT maintenance

Setting up new users (hardware/software/telephony)

Microsoft Office 365 administration

Assisting with internal technical projects

Pro-actively keep up to date with the latest industry practice and products

Maintain and contribute to a collaborative team environment, communicating professionally and respectfully amongst colleagues

What do we need from you?

A willingness to learn

An enthusiasm for technology

Office 365 experience

Good working knowledge of Windows 11 operating system

Basic understanding of network components (wifi, switches, routers, LAN/WAN)

Excellent troubleshooting methodology

Great attention to detail

Self motivator

2+ years experience of working in a service desk environment (required)

Comfortable with PC/laptop hardware components

Experience using remote access software (RDP/Teamviewer/VNC etc.)

VoIP experience

Experience with server operating systems/linux

IT/Network Qualifications/degree

Powershell experience
