Are you tech-savvy with a passion for delivering outstanding IT support to service users? Do you have knowledge of computer hardware and software and love problem solving?

If so, we’d love to hear from you! Strode Park Foundation (SPF) is now recruiting for a part-time IT Support Technician on a permanent basis, working 28 hours per week, across our 5 sites. As SPF is a 24/7 operation, when IT support is needed, it can mean working anti-social hours from time to time.

This salary offered for this role is £20,584.80 per annum (based on 28 hrs pw).

As IT Support Technician, you will:

  • Create new users in Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory and Office 365
  • Respond to general support calls on MS Windows 10, Office 365, MS Teams, and any additional software used by SPF
  • Set up laptops, PCs and mobile devices as needed
  • Assist SPF's service users with setting up and troubleshooting electronic devices
  • Ensure all digital security and safety of all service users, systems and data
  • Assist the Senior IT Support Technician with any project work

This role is based at Strode Park House (part of Strode Park Foundation) but will go to our other sites in Canterbury, Faversham and Rainham as required. Strode Park Houseis a 19th Century Victorian Manor House set in 14 acres of beautiful grounds in the picturesque village of Herne, Kent.

Our ideal IT Support Technician will have:

  • Previous relevant experience of Level 1 and 2 support in a service desk type role (or IT support role), or IT Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship.
  • Grades A-C (9-4) in GCSE maths and English language (or Functional Skills Level 2 or A-levels)
  • The ability to work effectively and prioritise own workload.
  • A driving licence in order to travel and work across all the Foundation's services.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work anti-social hours due to the requirement to share out-of-hours cover with the Senior Support Technician.

Although not essential, knowledge of WatchGuard routers and Samsung Knox would be an advantage.
