IT Second Line Technician

Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a new challenge? Join our team as an IT Second Line Technician, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure across the UK and Ireland.


About the Role

As part of a geographically dispersed IT team, you will provide second-line technical support, manage IT systems, and contribute to infrastructure projects. Your work will ensure the seamless operation of networks, servers, and cloud environments, supporting office-based, remote, and mobile users.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide second-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  2. Deploy, manage, and maintain Windows servers, Azure environments, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  3. Configure and support LAN networks, switches, and mobile devices.
  4. Monitor server infrastructure to ensure performance and security.
  5. Document IT processes and contribute to system improvements and projects.

Experience & Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant IT qualifications (preferred).
  2. Experience in IT operations, with expertise in Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, SCCM, and MDM tools.
  3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in international teams.
  4. Experience in network configuration, application deployment, and IT infrastructure monitoring is a plus.
